It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to hire porter service through the general service contractor to provide carpet and booth cleaning or to pick up excess debris during show hours.

Cleaning: The show’s official service contractor is responsible for and provides overall cleaning in the exhibit hall and occasionally event registration and services area depending on location.Carpenters: Responsible for un-crating of exhibits and display materials installing and dismantling exhibits including cabinets, fixtures, shelving units, furniture laying of floor tile and carpets hanging structural signs re-crating of exhibits and machinery installing and dismantling scaffolding, bleachers and ganging of chairs and the installation of signs.If you have any questions about jurisdictions, please contact your Account Representative. Your Event Service Contractor hires the following trade unions. Unions Employed by Event Service Contractors Communication Service Technicians: Responsible for the installation, repair and dismantle of all voice and data service including fiber optics and Internet installations, as well as performing all in-booth voice and data wiring of exhibitor- owned telecommunications equipment.McCormick Place employs an in-house division called McCormick Place Technology Services to fulfill the internet and telecommunications needs of the Event Planners and their Exhibitors. Union Workers Employed by McCormick Place Truck Marshaling/Lot B Address: 3050 Moe Dr, Chicago, IL 60616 Fees are charged for entrance, overnight storage and scale use. Services include a certified truck scale, 24‐hour staff, 24‐hour convenience/vending center and security cameras.
Truck Marshaling is located at 31st Street and Jean Baptiste Point DuSable Lake Shore Drive, (adjacent to Lot B) Marshaling is available for overnight truck parking based on availability. If you wish to ship freight prior to your move‐in, please contact your general service contractor who may have warehousing facilities available. This schedule should be passed along to your general service contractor for their completion and returned 15 days prior to your event.įreight shipped to McCormick Place or to our truck marshaling facility before your licensed move‐in date will not be accepted. Your Event Manager will give a Dock/Elevator Schedule form to you. A detailed production and dock door usage plan from the contractor is required to schedule dock space and service elevators. Freight/Drayage: You need to work closely with your general service contractor regarding freight move in/out.
